Data collection in connection with the use of Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service, on our website. Both Google and Google Analytics use so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your computer so that we can analyse how you use the website. As part of Google Analytics, information is collected on your operating system, browser, IP address, previously visited website (referring site URL), as well as the date and time of your visit. The information generated in this text file about your use of our website is transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it is also stored. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google will also transfer this information to third parties if required to do so by law or if third parties process this data on Google's behalf. Such use is done anonymously and using pseudonyms.

Collection and storage of usage data

Data such as the date and time of accessing the website, the address of the page from which you navigated to our website, etc. are collected and stored by us in order to optimise our website. This process takes place anonymously and without identifying the website user individually. Pseudonymised user profiles are also created. Again, there is no link between the person to whom the pseudonym is assigned and the usage data collected. We also use cookies to collect and store usage data. These are small text files that are stored on your computer in order to store statistical information, for example about your operating system, your web display software (browser), your IP address, the site you have previously visited (referring site URL), and the time of your visit. We collect this data exclusively for statistical purposes and with a view to improving our website and enhancing our online image. This data is only collected and saved anonymously or using a pseudonym. It is not possible to link them individually to a specific user.

Processing of personal data

The administrator of your personal data is Apcoa Polska Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw, Rondo ONZ 1, registered in the National Court Register under number 0000129400 (Apcoa).

We collect, process and store your personal data only:

  • for the purpose of concluding and performing a contract, if personal data is provided for the purpose of performing a contract, including for accounting purposes (including invoicing), for internal and external debt collection, for the execution of complaints;

  • in cases in which data processing is based on the data subject's consent - to the extent and for the purpose resulting from the content of the consent given;

  • for the legally justified purposes of the data controller, i.e. in particular direct marketing of products and services and customer satisfaction surveys.

Your personal data will not be forwarded to third parties unless this is necessary for the provision of the service or the performance of the contract. However, personal data may be transferred to third parties for the purpose of external debt collection or claim enforcement, as well as to suppliers responsible for the operation of IT systems, entities providing accounting services, marketing agencies (within the scope of marketing services) and entities related to the Administrator, including companies in its capital group. Your data will also be transferred by us to public authorities and bodies entitled to access it and as part of a legal obligation to disclose it or an obligation to disclose it under a court ruling.
We take data protection very seriously in our company. Our employees and subcontractors are obliged to maintain confidentiality and to comply with data protection regulations, and only persons with the appropriate authorisation have access to data.

We take due care to ensure that personal data is processed within the territory of the European Union and, where it is transferred outside the territory of the European Union, we ensure that it is not used for purposes other than those for which it was collected and is stored in a manner that guarantees an adequate level of security. We do not process or outsource personal data to countries outside the European Union and, where this would be necessary, we ensure that personal data is only processed by entities that ensure adequate protection.

User rights

The User may, free of charge, at any time and without giving any reason, obtain information about the processing of his/her personal data and exercise the right to access, request rectification, completion and amendment of the data processed by us about him/her. The User may at any time request the deletion of any data stored by us about him/her (right to be forgotten) and request the restriction of data processing. Each User also has the right to data portability and the right to object to the processing of his or her data for Apcoa's legitimate purposes as Controller, including direct marketing of its products and services and profiling, and the right not to be subject to a decision that is based solely on automated processing.

You may also withdraw the consent you have given us to process and use data about you at any time and without giving any reason. To do so, please go to the "Legal Notice" page and write to the address or call the number provided. Consent may not be withdrawn if:

  • the data subject does not sufficiently identify himself/herself,

  • a legal provision allows the data to be processed despite the withdrawn consent.

We also stipulate that:

  • the data subject has the right of access to his or her data and the right to be informed about the data, but these rights may not be actively exercised more often than once every 6 months. More frequent exercise of the right of information and access to data will be subject to a fee of PLN 50. paid to the account ... before we implement the request made. This fee represents the reasonable costs incurred by us in connection with the exercise of the right of access and is permitted by law.

  • a person has the right to request the erasure of his/her personal data, in particular when the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, However, we are not obliged to erase data where the processing is necessary for:

    • exercise your rights and freedoms of expression and information,

    • the fulfilment of a legal obligation to process under Union or Polish law, or the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, in particular the Accountancy Act,

    • for archiving purposes in the public interest, for scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes,

    • for the establishment, assertion or defence of claims.

Please note that the rules on data protection and data processing, such as those set out by Google, may be subject to constant change. It is therefore recommended and necessary to familiarise yourself with changes to the law and the rules adopted by individual companies, such as Google.

Final information

If we discover that we are processing personal data in violation of the law, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, based in Warsaw, Stawki 2.
